Right now, I am grateful for...
:: dandelions, spring growth, toes coming out of winter hiding, knitting in the sun.
:: a rainy day following yesterday's beautiful sun. If it never rained, I would never stop frolicking outside long enough to do laundry. And the plants need it desperately!
:: soothing marshmallow, lemon balm and elderflower tea, brewed for that tickle in my throat that hopefully won't turn into something more.
:: realizing that all the little sprouts poking up in my garden are Anise Hyssop from last year that went to seed. Its one of my favorite herbs, so delicious and the big, plump bumblebees love it.
:: signing up for our vegetable CSA again this year and deciding to buy a meat share as well. We buy organic meat from the market, but I want the meat in our diet to be local and sustainable as well, so I am excited to try this out.
:: loved the New Moon in Taurus yesterday with all of its practical, grounded and unrushed energy.
:: savoring the last of the raspberry jam I made last year from the berries we picked. I love raspberries and must confess, I find them far superior to strawberries.
:: buying some used books online and getting them in the mail. Is there anything better than getting a package in the mail and it being a book?
:: my djembe drum, of which I may not be the most skillful player, but its feels so good to unleash energy (or, um, angst) through drumming
:: the sun, the breeze, blue skies and soaking it all in.
I count my blessings with Wooly Moss Roots, whose gratitude is contagious.
