Sleep is about to over take my eyes, but before the next week of moons starts, I want to look back at the recent days past and count my blessings.
Right now, I am grateful for:
:: shoeless feet, grass between my toes, impromptu picnics outside and the most comfortable summer sandals in the world.
:: My two favorite pregnancy books at the moment, Sacred Pregnancy by Anni Daulter and The Natural Pregnancy Book by Aviva Romm. These two books speak to me on a soul level and I am so glad to have them.
:: My first-time moms pregnancy group that meets each week - last week was our first meeting and my heart was just bursting with love for the women in the group. We are all so different from one another and all have such different stories and backgrounds, yet we are sharing in the journey together. Its beautiful.
:: Cherries. I can't get enough of their goodness.
:: Having the mental space and heart space for new ideas to form and knowing when they are coming from a place of authenticity, rather than a striving that is disconnected from the soul.
:: Taking a respite from the computer on Friday and Saturday, while enjoying dinners with friends, summer drives and beach time. Unplugging is the healthiest form of detoxing there is. (But of course, thank you for being here and reading this!)
:: Singing my favorite chant to the baby in the womb. The little one can hear outside sounds now, so its been a sweet ritual to sing "Om Namah Shivaya" each morning.
:: The power of the breath. It is an amazing.
:: "Marshmallow Mountain", my husband's term for the abundant stacks of pillows I have acquired over the past weeks to sleep with. Though a little embarrassing, that mountain is heaven sent and helps me get a sweet sleep.
:: Rose essential oil. A little bit mixed with jojoba oil is the perfect under eye treatment.
:: The power of poetry to lift and mend the spirits.
I count my blessings with Taryn of Wooly Moss Roots, whose gratitude is contagious.
Here's to another week of blessings coming to us all.
